Message From The Originator

I wanted to find a way of crystallizing the essence of all that I have noticed, experienced and understood during my 8000 hours of Executive Coaching. I wanted to share this knowledge with anyone who was ready to grow and who was curious about themselves and the situations that influence their working lives.

These tools from Exceptional Achievement come from my original thinking. They are the result of a vital moment of deep insight during one of my own coaching sessions. The structure that came to me then evolved, as I spent five years developing, refining, validating and testing with groups and individuals who have been my clients.

I am passionate about coaching and its ability to acknowledge, enable and be a catalyst for developing new and effective solutions for our ongoing challenges.

Executive Coaching is not available to all. These tools were originally developed to offer a personal coaching experience to anyone who was ready for a coaching approach to their challenge at work but who was unlikely to have access to an Executive Coach. I believe in our inherent ability to be self-sufficient and to find our own best solutions. A quality framework for thinking through what is important for us, is a valuable aide for accelerating our growth.

It was important to me that the tools were accessible and easy to use given the constraints on our time and attention. The tools' apparent simplicity disguises deep sophistication in the knowledge embedded within the tools. The outputs may form the basis of a deeper conversation with self from a position of greater clarity and may also be used to share thoughts with someone else, a manager, a colleague, a friend, or even a coach. As a result of using this tool we have changed the way that we manage our weekly meetings. It enabled the most successful team event that I have done. We used the graphic to decide how we were going to take our challenges forward - Sales, Service, Standards, People. Our weekly meetings are now just 1hr long (previously 2-2 1/2 hours) and clearly structured with everyone having a part to play. We have more clarity in 1 hr than previously in 2 1/2 hrs
